Instant replay, second to last clip play for a fraction of a second and then the last clip starts

Hi,
I have had this problem ever since I started using the instant-replay.lua plug-in. I live-stream sports (typically the ice sport bandy) and whenever there is a goal or save or something else that I find is worth showing again (and eventually be part of a highligts reel) I hit my hot-key to save and show the clip. Every single time the instant replay starts by showing the last few tenths of a second from the clip before the one I just recorded. I have tried adding delays to stop this from happening (I use Touch Portal to initiate the instant replay and there I have tried adding the delay), but nothing seems to help. Is this likely to be caused by a somewhat older hardware situation or is something else "wrong"?
All replay clips, when I go through them after the broadcast to make a highlights reel with DaVinci Resolve are unaffected by the clip before - so this must be something that is happening in OBS Studio...

An example can be seen at approximately 21:44 of the YouTube-clip in this match: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VFJ0pGSel6M
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks

let me guess....are u using any tansition from the main scene and the replay scene ?? the problem in this case is not the replay ...remember that the replay media starts at the end of the transition

@Pokoto , somehow I did not see your comment until today. Thanks for responding, it is appreciated! I only had the cut transition, so no not really the issue there. However at this point I would be happy to have it function as well as it did when I wrote my original post. A lot more troubleshooting to be done before I can get back to this issue it seems.

@Tomasz Góral I am not sure if you are asking or telling me, but eitherw way: I do have the live feed as a background in the replay scene, but it is in fact not the main window. Are you trying to tell me that the double feed is stressing my computer too much so that i get the glitch? The issue is the start of the replay clip, where the end of the last replay is initially shown look for the "flashing" R in the upper right corner...

Found this trying to find a better solution of some sort. My band-aid is to go into the replay source and uncheck Restart playback when source becomes active.

I added a 1.5 second media source of a video with "Replay" that shows and then the replay video loads and plays over top of that. There's a short delay after as well so I just have a color source so there's a different color as it cuts back to live.
