Hi there,
yesterday I did a first test stream of a professional weightlifting competition and noticed some strange behaviour of the replay buffer.
Background Info:
I connected a DJI Osmo Action via RTMP to OSB Studio. This gives me a 3sec delay between the actual lift and when I see it on my screen. I’m am using this delay to start the Replay Buffer manually. Once the lift is completed I send a Multi-Action via Stream Deck to do the following:
1st Issue:
when playing the Replay Buffer I noticed that there is always some 1-2 secs of the previous replay shown, before it switches to the new replay.
this is really weird and disturbing in the stream. I don‘t think it is related to the delay from the cam, since the buffer is written to the hard disk.
2nd Issue:
even worse, sometimes the buffer seems to not work at all and it is just always the previous replay shown. I couldn‘t figure out if the buffer was not (properly) written to the hard disk or if it is something else. However, once this starts happening no further replay works anymore and the only fix I could figure out is to deactivate the entire Replay Buffer via the Settings and then re-enable it.
Obviously this is an issue when during a competition the replay from a wrong lifter is shown.
Any help in fixing or tracking down these issues is much appreciated.
since I am fairly new to OBS and streaming please let me know if any additional info is required from m end here.

- wait 1000ms (ensuring Replay Buffer is saved)
- switch so Replay Scene
- mute all Audio
- Play Replay Buffer with 40% speed
- stop Replay Buffer
