DroidCam OBS Camera 2.4.2

@GameingGreg - it looks like you are trying to connect an iPhone using USB? There have been a few intermitted reports similar to this as of v2.4.0; can you try the following

* Exit OBS and remove the DroidCam plugin (using Programs & Features in Windows)
* Download and install v2.3.4 of DroidCam, and make sure 'iOS USB Support' is checked
* Install v2.4.1 on top of 2.3.4, but make sure 'iOS USB Support' is NOT checked

Please send your results to support@dev47apps.com, lets not clutter this thread with internal comments

Hi can you confirm if the iOS version should have image stabilisation? I use DroidCam by strapping it to my head & streaming creative projects, but there's tiny micro-shakes that I'm not sure existed before I upgraded to iPhone 17 Pro.
I read online that I could configure image stabilisation within the iPhone OS settings - but I've clicked everything you'd expect to work and can't seem to change how shaky the DroidCam footage is.

Also, while giving feedback - the front-facing selfie cam has the same name as the ultra-wide camera in the DroidCam app.

(I only use the App with the OBS Plugin)

Thanks!

Hi, DroidCam does not incorporate or try use any image stabilization options (these are sparsely supported and can negatively affect latency). The recommended approach is use a simple phone gimbal.

Noted on the feedback, will review.

Only one the best way to use droid cam in 60FPS and USB is install 3utools and install drivers.
Next is in obs refresh devices and select USB iphone. Works perfect with no lag in 60 FPS.

And i have questioins...why droidcam obs dont have 120 FPS like ivcam?

I'm loving DroidCam, but there's one thing I very much want to do but can't. With the phone vertical and the OBS source rotated, the FaceTracker plugin won't work, as it only detects faces when oriented vertically. Is there any way to set DroidCam up for vertical use within its software?

@kris0725pl - I will make a note to add that option into the Settings (assuming no other implementation complications).

@RocksInMyDryer - Unfortunately there isn't a built in way to rotate the incoming image data. As-is, I think you would need to pipe the video through the DroidCam Client (apply rotation there, then load it as a Video Capture Device in OBS).
